Amy Hair Braiding

I went in today just to get pricing and those women were so so rude telling me my hair was just too short for braids, 'they" not realizing me hair is in finger coils so its in shrinkage status. And the nerve of one of the hair tech was touching my hair/scalp with her dirty fingers she was eating & hadn't washed her HAND so disrespectful. Nope I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.

I recently got braids there. I have a daughter who has been going for over a year. I must say my service was outstanding. I normally only speak with Amy who is always kind and professional, but I recently had my braids done by Cassie who did an awesome job. It has been two weeks and my hair still looks neat with no bumps. I was treated so nice I just had to share . Thanks ladies 👏👏👑👑

I got my hair braided at the shop as a walk in during the evening around 6 o’clock. I was thankful that a salon near my area was still accepting walk ins so late in the evening. I explained the style I wanted and Amy was able to do that in about 4 to 4 1/2 hours. The shop was clean and everyone seemed to get along well. The only “downside” is she braids really tight, it’s a good thing because they’re going to last; however, they might also take your edges lol, my scalp is a little raw near the side part. She laid my edges and put my hair in a neat bun once she was done, my style only cost $100.00. I will be going back whenever I need my hair braided again.

I went around 10 this morning to see if they had any openings. She took my number down and called back within 15 minutes saying I could come in at 2pm. I arrived at 2pm to get knotless box braids. The young lady started my hair around 2:30. After a few braids I noticed how slow she was moving and I knew I didn’t want to be there all day. After about an hour she had only installed 5 braids. She was an amateur braided which is something I’ve never experienced at an African braiding salon. I ended up paying $40 for the 5 braids in my head and leaving. Once I got home to remove them, they literally unraveled in my hands. Very poor quality and extremely SLOW! Wouldn’t recommend AT ALL!

First picture is me and what was done by Amy. It looks nothing like the second picture of what I wanted. I paid $100 plus a $10 tip. I will never go back here.
