AMY African Hairbraiding

I sent my son into this salon for 8 stitch corn rows (pop smoke style) and it was a HORRIBLE lousy job. They used so much gel on his hair it felt like glue! it was white and clumped on top of the braids! his barber couldn’t even cut his hair afterwards because his hairline was glued to head. The parts were so sloppy! A HUGE disappointment and waste of time and money. I had to wash his hair out 4 times to get all of the gel out. I told the owner I was very unhappy with the result. She was not apologetic at all, she had an attitude and told me I could not get my money back. I wouldn’t recommend no one to come here! the shop is also very dirty! I went to this hair salon in December currently still have my braids in. They look amazing. Still the two ladies I had were extremely sweet and I will be coming back!

It’s very unpleasant for me to leave a one star review since I’ve been coming here for about two years to get my hair braided. My last experience with this shop and Amy was horrible! I got my hair braided in boho twist waist length which I’ve done at least 3 times before and every time I love them but today before I paid Amy she charged me way more for my hair than usual I always paid $210 today it was $250 plus tip I really wish she sticks to a price especially since the girl next to me got the same exact hairstyle and was charged $210 just watch out ladies be ware of the price before getting your hair done.

This was my second time getting my hair braided at this place. I love it!!! I walked in there at 9:45am and was walking out a little after 12pm. I got medium knotless braids. For them to be medium they were smaller then i expected but perfect. There were two ladies doing my hair though. They were very nice and polite.

I went today to get my hair braided even after seeing bad reviews..I got the smedium boho braids red and blonde 613. I love this place.I'm going back.The braiders were so nice.They were fast, I was out in three hours.I got waist length at that.... Don't listen to the bad reviews.Go to this place and figure it out on your own.I love it i'm going back......thank u
