Amy African Hair Braiding

Appointment scheduled for opening at 10am, were already 3 people in chairs upon arrival. Had to wait over 1.5 hour for my braider to begin my hair. Sent video of style & advised during, after 2 braids, I wanted large parts & stated that’s what I will get twice, outcome still did not match nor length. Noticed once home braids were neat but uneven. Middle parts are curved. Did not put all boho hair brought into head nor gave back remaining. Agreed with amount given of video sent. Do not believe the style given was worth amount paid.

My hair was done by the owner Amy, I Paid $250 for Island Twists and this is what I got. None of my parts in the back of my head are straight she did not use a comb to part the back of my hair. When came time to leave I asked if they had a card reader and I was told No and asked to go to the ATM next door and get cash. I expressed that my parts were not straight and they were bigger than the front parts but that I would still pay them their money and told her to walk over with me, when I tried to leave to go next door the owner Amy tried to close me in the shop! I was very confused because I was just asked to go to the ATM next door. I would not recommend anyone to go there because they are rude and disrespectful

Specifically asked for squared parting in front and this what I received also I where t hair flipped to side so I extremely dislike the in even parting asked for blonde braids they ended up mixing hair with colors I didn’t ask for adding black thru out my hair and on ends which I said I didn’t want just VERY unsatisfied especially since they where 350$ Some braids seem to be bigger than others 📍📍HAIR TANGLES

I appreciated them getting me in as a walk in however they did not do my hairstyle correctly after saying they could. I had to go back and have them fix it. They fixed it though and did okay. I would just go to them for basic styles next time.

Took my 11 year-old daughter to get box braids with box parts also brought her own hair because her hair is in the middle of her back and also, this special hair keeps her scalp from itching I came back to pick her up 10 hours later!!!! And Amy switched The hair I bought her With their own hair, used hair that was too short for my daughter‘s actual hair and didn’t even braid it all the way down, it’s coming apart ALREADY!!!!! Her braids are all uneven and when I brought it to Amy attention she started they know how to braid hair and have been doing it a long time I am livid very disappointed. Amy is rude and very unprofessional. She doesn’t care about anything but a quick dollar….it will be the last she ever gets for me and ANY ONE ELSE IF I CAN HELP IT! Lucky google made me put one star c
