I have NEVER left a nail appointment feeling like I wanted to cry — until today. Eight days ago, I spent $150 on a manicure and pedicure. $150. When a couple of my nails broke, I came back in expecting a simple fix. Instead, I was treated like I had committed some kind of crime. The woman who “helped” me wasn’t even the one who originally did my nails, yet she spoke to me like I had personally offended her. I was talked down to, blamed, and made to feel stupid for something that clearly should not have happened after just eight days. The attitude, the tone, the complete lack of basic respect — it was shocking. Getting your nails done is supposed to feel relaxing and fun. So I'm someone who gets there nails done maybe 3 times a year if I'm feeling fancy. I was taken here as a surprise from my boyfriend. I will break it down. Older front desk lady with the short brown hair was an absolute sweet heart. Very very welcoming and the only reason this is any stars. The tech I had spoke to me enough to say "I need you to pick your color now" three times because I wasn't sure. All while she was shaping and not ready for the dipping process. As someone who's bascially inexperienced in nail things I didn't even know what shape I wanted. I asked for a shape chart and she bascially scoffed like I was stupid. I came here a few weeks ago to get my nails done for my wedding. My grandmother booked the 'room' because we had a party of 8. I asked for a basic deep french acrylic set with gel plus a regular gel pedicure. The pedicure was completed in about 8 minutes and started to come off in days. I had to go back a day later to have two of the acrylic nails fixed due to the gel not being set properly because the tech was trying to rush me out even though they had another hour before closing. I called right when I got home the same night about (8:30pm) and nobody answered. The girls that run the front do a TERRIFIC job. They are very helpful and kind. Waited 45 minutes past my scheduled time. The next morning I noticed air bubbles which had popped. The acrylics were not close to my cuticle at all. I went to get them fixed and there is still an air bubble. You can also tell where the other ones had peeled. I asked if she could fill them more and she said no because the brush is too big to get that close. She also said that she was almost out of the color and she had barely had enough to finish the 2 accent nails. Never going back. Not worth $60. She was rushing the entire time.
