I love my hairdresser. I love this place. If you want a great look while getting lovely pampering, this is the place. This is a busy, full service salon with a loyal following. It is cozy and intimate. It is in an 18th century house that has been renovated. Pretty inside. Free parking.

I had Halloween makeup done last fall. The owner, Imelda, did a phenomenal job and she was super attentive and sweet. I would highly recommend Ambiance for anyone looking for event makeup. Excellent, excellent work. ❤️

I have known Imelda a long time but have only started going to her for hair since last February. It was a difficult decision to leave my past hairdresser but I always loved how Imelda did everyone’s hair and wanted to make a change. She listens to exactly what you are looking for and thoroughly consults with you to make sure you are understood. She creates beautiful colors and styles your hair beautifully too. All staff from receptionist to shampoo people are so kind. Great atmosphere to unwind too with a spa treatment.

I've been going to this salon for years. I got my wedding hair and makeup done there. When I have a special event to attend, I go here. But not anymore. I booked two appointments, one for July 30th for a haircut and one for August 6th for hairstyling and make - up. I did this so I could talk to my stylist about what I wanted for the 2nd appointment. The haircut and hairstyling is fine. Maybe it's just me, but I really love getting my hair washed and cut. The lady who washed my hair this time went so quickly and had such sharp nails, it was the antithesis of relaxing. It hurt a little and felt rushed. I even paid more for the Olaplex treatment so I could walk away with really nice feeling hair after a relaxing wash. But no. The hair feels nice enough, but the wash was very disappointing.

I've been going to Ambiance for almost a year now and am so happy I've finally found "my place". Alisa is fantastic - she's done color (some drastic), completely new styles for me - and I've always been happy with the results. The salon is nice but not pretentious, parking is ample.
