Such a great place with genuine people who work here. I went in for a repair from a previous cut and before I knew it, I had 2 stylists tackling my issues. Fantastic workmanship, ethics and client relationships. I wish I could give them another star for going above and beyond the call of duty. Thank you, ladies, for all your attention to detail.

Your search for a barbershop is over, Congrats. This place is it. Not sure what just happened to me, went in to get what i thought would be a quick buzzcut. Next thing I know I have a nice hair line again and a hot towel on my face getting a shave. Entire time I was thinking this is going to cost me a fortune (which I was ok with because john is like the Bob Ross of barbers) But, for the first time in a very VERY long time, I felt like I actually received great service at a value. It was a welcome change.

Ive got 2 military style fades from the barber in this place. last fall, navy style high & tite 28$. Expensive for a 10 minute job. Last week I went again for another quick fade and THE PRICE WAS 38.00$!!!! tip not included. I won't be going again.

I ask that you take David’s review (customer who left the previous review) with a grain of salt as most of his reviews seem to be putting down small businesses. I can’t say whether or not it was his motive, but his behavior is often a tactic used for free services. Personally, I have to agree with the more positive reviews here and attest that the service at this salon was top tier and beyond satisfactory. Desirae was extremely attentive, friendly, and timely for all her customers (she was between myself and another customer). The overall experience at the salon was both calming and welcoming and I will be returning for an additional services I can trust and enjoy!

I've been spending my summer vacations in Ossipee for the better part of six decades and it never occurred to me to go to the barber up here. I cannot recommend John at Amber Aura highly enough. Super well trained and super nice guy. I'm not exactly a difficult client since I'm bald but he did a perfect job on my head and then my full beard including straight razor. True professional. As good as or better than any barber I have visited in Manhattan or Boston. Six out of five stars.
