Amazing Cuts

I can’t say enough good things about Amazing Cuts and Lyda, the owner. She is genuinely one of the kindest, most positive people you will ever meet. Not only is she an incredible human, but her haircuts are always absolutely dialed in. She truly cares about her work and takes her time to make sure the final result is perfect every single visit. My brother is also a barber, but he lives too far away for me to see regularly. When we moved to the Long Beach/Lakewood area, I started searching for someone local—and my brother told me the mark of a truly excellent barber is consistency: being able to deliver a great haircut every single time. Lyda is a fantabulous stylist. She cut my hair exactly as I wanted it. I have had many complaints since she cut my hair. And it's easy for me to style at home until I get my next trim. Make an appointment with her, you won't be sorry.

Too much in my personal business and not just focused on cutting hair. She found out my boyfriend and I had broken up and started treating me differently. We both used to get our hair cut there. Haircuts started to not be the same, like she didn't care anymore. The last straw was the unprofessional attitude and her saying I look like a boy before I left. I would've preferred her stop taking me as a client instead of being unprofessional, not caring about my haircuts anymore, and still charging me.

I brought my two daughters here for their back to school haircuts and Lyda did a wonderful job! She was very thorough with making sure it was exactly what we wanted and was so sweet and great with my kids. She had her work cut out for her too because she had to fix the bangs one daughter attempted to cut for herself at home 🙈. Lyda made her bangs look even and lovely. My girls were thrilled with their new looks and I was very happy with how quickly and efficiently it was done! Thank you, Lyda!! 💖

I had long covet hair and was tired of it. I didn't want to go to any of the generic haircut places for men. I found amazing cuts on Yelp, called and made an appointment. Lyda was professional and understood how I wanted my hair to look. I'm extremely satisfied not only by the great haircut but the reasonable price as well. I highly recommend her and I am now going to be a regular customer.
