The worst hair experience I've ever had! She charged me $600 for this!!!! She did this lengthy consultation to see what I wanted. I told her my hair was extremely damaged from the last 2 stylist who missed the mark, and that all I wanted was my already brassy root shadow fixed and just a few face framing foils. That's it. I was happy enough with everything from the tarnished root shadow out. She quoted me for a half head of foils and a bowel of color for the shadow. Under $250. We made the appointment. She was late and unkept when she arrived. Wearing flip flops and a tie dye. But I didn't judge. However, I do know what a professional looks like and she wasn't it. Ive been going to Amanda for 18 months. She took my hair from blah to fabulous. She does great permanent color and knows how to remove the unnecessary volume from my thick, wavy hair. Ohhhh where do I begin... Amanda is an expert colorist!! I came to her years ago after years of using box dye to cover the gray and used cheap shampoo. The undertones in my hair turn it completely orange. Amanda fixed all this, starting with color correction. From there, we've done baby lights, foils, balayage, and gone even brighter with icy. Along with her making my hair beautiful.... she educated me. I learned what to do and not to do. I followed her advice. I got rid of my cheap shampoo and purchased the proper shampoo. I rely on my hair dryer and styling brush now and not heat styling instruments. These pictures are my very first visit with her in Charlotte.
