AM Nail Bar

Came in and was serviced by Denise. She has excellent customer service asked all the important questions as in what’s my favorite part about a pedicure. I like that she asked that. It told me everything I need to know and that I would be leaving with a fye pedicure. She also specified in what type of French tip I’d like. I’ve come here many of times and was never asked that. She’s amazing. God Bless Her in Abundance of clientele.

Wendy is the ONLY person who I will allow to do my pedicures in this entire city. I am a nail technician myself, so when I get a service done, I can’t relax because I’m constantly paying attention on what the tech is doing wrong. But with Wendy, I will fall asleep in the chair and not worry about leaving with sloppy work done. She is CONSISTENTLY and meticulously methodical and I can tell/feel that she cares about what it is she is doing. It’s so refreshing to not feel like a dollar sign, but an actual client. I love my nail tech, Lynne. Started with her about 2 yrs ago, after my nail tech left. Lynne and her mom are very loving and caring people.

I went to the AM nail bar 1 for a eyebrow arch/tint service and was instructed to drive almost 30 mins to the AM Bar 2 location, I was called 4 times in the process to see when my eta would be. Rush to get over to the second location and the same person that was answering the phone was the one at the second location. He lied to my face and said he never instructed me to come to this location which really pissed me off. I’m from Charlotte, I live in Charleston and I passed many salons just to get the run around. Didn’t even accommodate me, and the black girl that thought she was going to do my brows kept questioning why I wanted a razor and not wax it eas annoying. I would never come here again I’m so pissed taking 1 hr out of my state fair trip with my family for nothing!!!!

Okay! Lynne is amazing!!! The entire place is amazing. Drive from Orangeburg with my boyfriend’s daughter. I had a pedicure and she got a full set done. We didn’t have an appointment but they took us right away. The place is bright, airy and clean. The staff was amazingly friendly and the atmosphere was delightful. Needless to say, we left completely satisfied with our services. I will definitely be making the trip back. UPDATE- Kevin rocks! I initially went in to get a gel manicure and had a split nail. He suggested that the dip would be the better option for natural nail and he wasn’t wrong. My nails have grown and are longer and stronger. He’s also amazingly talented and kind. Worth the drive.
