I was looking for a specific length and width of steel for a project but wasnt sure of what thickness my welder could do. I had just purchased a welder and was "self teaching" (aka a bunch of reading websites and watching YouTube videos) myself to weld so I've never really dealt with anything in this field, so I was a little worried about looking foolish. After searching all over the interweb for steel that I needed and finding outrages prices, I was told to go into Alro Steel here in Cadillac. I was hesitant because although I've heard of the name before, I always thought it was only for commercial type of customers. I was pleasantly surprised with how I was greeted and approached once I went into their front office and explained to them what I was looking for. They not only went over the
