Alpha's Barbershop

This is the only barber shop I will go to. Chris and Shane are awesome and we always have good conversations while getting my hair cut. A must go too.

My first haircut at Alphas was choppy but I wanted to give them a second chance. I tried to get in for another cut and they were closed during their posted business hours with no warning. The barber around the corner was busy but they were happy to squeeze me in and they gave me a great cut with exceptional service, they’ve earned my business. Upon reading other similar reviews, it appears that owner has a way of avoiding accountability and mistreating people who give honest reviews. I won’t be surprised if he attacks this review too. Update; I tried to collect my refund as the owner said he would refund me below. His business was not open, during normal business hours, displaying a pattern of inconsistency, in dependability and haircuts.

UPDATE: he has since edited his reply. No doubt to make himself look good, how strange. I’ll attach original reply. Apparently someone can’t leave a less than 5 star review these days without being accused of being a “troll”. How professional and exactly the reason me and my family will not be returning to this establishment and now will be telling everyone I know by word of mouth how this place operates. I’m blown away by the response I got from my honest review, see below. It’s too bad. Inconsistent/odd hours of operation. Rushed and stressed employees makes for an anxious haircut. A handful of bad cuts and my son dreading going in are enough to keep me and my family away. Owner is erratic and just doesn’t give me good feelings. Their former location always seemed super dirty

Always quick, walk in friendly which works for me. Straight foward, always get a nice looking fade. I will sit in either chair. Would pay more for a straight razor finish but still come out looking and feeling fresher. Love that they're open on Mondays. Alphas is my go to in the area

Was traveling through town on vacation in advance of meetings in Nashua and saw the neighboring Night Owl Quilt Shop. Thinking my wife, a quilter, could use a break from the ride, we stopped. To my surprise, next door was Alpha's Barbershop. Needing a trim before my meeting, I popped in just as the most recent customer was leaving and was able to hop right in the chair. I told Jimmy what I needed, and he did a great job. I have a solid barbershop at home, but I was more than satisfied with Jimmy's effort; more importantly, my wife has commented several times, even now, two weeks after the cut, that Jimmy did a fantastic job. Clearly a win-win with a great haircut for me and a quilt shop next door for my wife. If you are passing through Goffstown and need a cut, stop here! Don't think about
