She was patient, gentle with my very thick hair, advised during the trim what was cute but necessary for the health of my hair, and the style was beautiful! This salon quality is worth every penny. If you have 4C hair and care about the health of your hair, please do not go here. My hair looked amazing after my silk press but after washing my hair four days after receiving my silk press this was the result. My hair was falling out in the shower. I was devastated.

While Alina’s Hair Salon did a decent job styling my hair, I left feeling frustrated and disappointed with their pricing and customer service. I came in with my hair already blow-dried and only needed styling and clip-in installation, yet they still charged me $60 — the price of a full roller set including wash and blow dry, which I did not receive. They charged $72 to install one pack of clip-ins, bringing my total to $132 — far more than I expected for the limited services I actually received. What’s more confusing is that on a previous visit for the exact same service (on a Saturday), I was only charged $90 total. I used to frequent this place but lately the quality of my hair has not been good. The style lasts maybe a day or two but I noticed my hair matting, being dry and brittle, and when combing it a lot of broken hair falling. My hair always seems dry and shorter. While they’re usually quick and affordable, the products aren’t good for ethnic hair. Silk press me!
