I had a wonderful experience at this salon! It’s clean, beautiful, and has a relaxing atmosphere with quiet, not loud, music — perfect for unwinding. The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, making us feel welcome right away. The prices were very affordable, which was a big plus. Sandra did an amazing job on my daughter’s hair, — she absolutely loved how it turned out and hasn’t stopped smiling since! If you go to this salon, definitely ask for Sandra. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE NATURAL WITH CURLS!!! They will DAMAGE your hair. I let them deep condition my hair and my curls are damaged and my hair is so much thinner. I now have to regrow my hair and hide it under protective styles. Never coming back here again!! DO NOT GO HERE

I got a blowout, curls, deep conditioning and trim. after maintaining my hairstyle for 3 weeks (not adding any extra heat), I washed my hair and noticed the stringy straight hair. My hair used to be a 4b/c and now is possibly chemically burnt or maybe due to the excessive heat usage from that salon. I’m not sure but I know my hair is stuck straight and is so broken and brittle. I will not be returning. Go to this salon with caution, please.

I have been completely natural for 10 years. I got my hair pressed at Alex’s, because I was short on time and needed something quick. Immediately after my hair felt different. I have washed it several times since then and my curl pattern has not returned to its natural state. 🥹 10 years of progress gone. As the new growth grows in, the pattern change is clear as day. If you are have natural hair, meaning no perm or chemicals. I do not recommend this salon!

This is a great place. Been living in New Jersey for 15 years now. I have been to several hair places and the service and price are not great at all. Took my daughter here to get a haircut and she loved it. Reminded me of the Dominican hair salons in the Bronx. Price is also reasonable.
