Alera Salon and Spa

I am so happy I found this place. I recently moved to this area from another state where I had my hair cut by the same stylist for over 15 years. She was not only my stylist but also a friend. I'd been searching for a new place when Alera was recommended to me. There I found a receptionist that remembered my name/face after just one visit and a stylist who listened to me complain how I couldn't find anyone who met my (spoiled) standards. She was friendly and asked a lot of questions regarding how I preferred my haircut. I ended up with a great haircut and someone who listened and let me ramble. Now I go to this stylist because she knows what I want and we have a good customer/stylist relationship. I highly recommend Alera to people.

I recently left a negative 1 star review. I had a balayage and cut which was brassy, chunky, and blunt. The salon Manager reached out to me on their next business day and apologized and discussed my concerns. She went over my review pictures and talked about my grievances. She apologized and offered a same day appointment to fix the problems with a different stylist, Stacy. Due to the recent coloring of my hair, I was offered a toner and layering to fix the brassy highlights and the bluntness of my cut. Stacy was wonderful. She listened and validated my concerns. She did a wonderful job blending the highlights and toning my hair. She fixed the shape of the cut and actually made my hair look longer than it did after the first cut. She was so kind and helpful. I have been going to Tracey for about a year now every 2-3 months. She is incredible!!! I almost want to gatekeep her. Happy to use inspo pics if you have them, while using her own expertise and assessment to make amends (after clearing it with you) on how to cut your hair so it continues to look flattering as it grows out. She is passionate about what she does and her many years in the industry show. She will never want you to leave unhappy and will work with you to get your desired result. One of the kindest people I've ever met, too!

I cannot describe how much I love this salon. I had such a wonderful experience and connection that it is the place I trusted leading up to my wedding! My hair request wasn’t crazy but my hair needed to hold a curl all day and be one color 😂 I see Payge for my regular appointments, and Tracy styled my wedding hair. I can’t thank them enough for making me feel like a million dollars for the biggest day of my life. They know how much I love them, but I hope this review finds a bride who is looking for her big day as well. While I’ve calmed down dying my hair, if I ever need another appointment I won’t go anywhere else. Love this place!!

Had a great experience at Altera's. Stacy cut my hair and trimmed my beard with excellence. Was the best haircut and beard trim I ever had. I thank Jan Duncan for recommending me to her. I will definitely be back for my next haircut and beard trim. I highly recommend Altera's to all my friends and family.
