AJ Salon is a gem ! Gerta, the owner has been styling my own and my families’ hair for more than 12 years and we can’t imagine going anywhere else. Gerta takes pride in her work and making her clients look their best ! Highly recommend!

Came in cold off of a Nextdoor recommendation. Having moved back to Massachusetts in the past year, I'm still looking for a stylist. Frances, rather than Gerta, was assigned to do my work. She was excellent and attentive. We had a great conversation, (with periods of no conversation when she was concentrating), in the chair. I appreciate very much the time and care she put into adjusting my bangs so that they framed my face. The cut itself is highly flattering. Frances prefers scissors over razoring for the bangs--personally speaking, I love a stylist who is fluid with a razor, but her work was excellent with the tools she favored. Parking is easy here, a plus when you have a stylist who is paying attention to the cut rather than to the clock. I would have been in violation of my time if

Gerta, the owner, is a talented, detail oriented, very patient, and kind person! She does anything possible to accommodate your hair needs so you leave her salon happy, and without breaking your pocket. Highly recommended!

I love coming here, Gerta is so amazing, so sweet and knows people’s hair. She does not do anything you don’t feel comfortable doing. This place is amazing and I highly recommend coming here!

Gerda is a rare master of Asian hair in the entire Boston area. I've been with her last 5-6 years (since Snip+). Her new place is gorgeous. Definitely recommended!!!
