Aioli Bodega Espanola

A couple of weeks ago, we finally visited Aioli Bodega Española in Sacramento, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The weather was perfect, so we grabbed a table in their relaxing backyard patio, which felt like the ideal setting for a slow evening. We began our meal with a pitcher of sangria and two tapas: Patatas Bravas, which are crispy potatoes with just the right amount of kick, and Pinchos Morunos, spiced skewers of meat. This Spanish-inspired restaurant is a gem. The distinct flavors of each dish are rich and vibrant, complemented by stunning presentation. The service is attentive, and the relaxed atmosphere, filled with beautiful art, enhances the dining experience. A fantastic spot for delicious food in a charming setting!

Decent Spanish style tapas that verge into Mediterranean meze at times. Not always the freshest ingredients (shrimp had obviously been frozen for some time). Good selection of wine and excellent suggestions from the staff.

This has been my go-to lunch place for years! How can you top the lunch special where you choose from the fish, stew, or pasta that starts with a soup and ends with a dessert? Recently, I had a late lunch and had the restaurant to myself. It was magical. I highly recommend taking the time for yourself to treat yourself every now and again to some alone lunch time. So worth it. Especially here.

We went there on a Tuesday night. It wasn’t busy. It’s a nice Spanish restaurant with some nice atmosphere. Food was delicious. And good service.
