She’s amazing - Chhoeun has such a calming presence. While she was cutting my hair, I felt like I really got to know her. Truly a beautiful person inside and out… and she’s incredibly talented! Let’s just say I was giving Lord Farquaad, and I left looking like a new person (might have to update my driver’s license). It was truly a treat.

Highly, HIGHLY recommend. Chhoeun was attentive, so easy to talk to, patiently listened to all my concerns and helped me figure out what needed to be done and worked best for the condition my hair was in (which was an annoying mess) and the end result was even better than I could've asked for! In addition to Chhoeun being amazing, the studio environment was serene, calming, great location, awesome parking - completely stress-free experience. Ten out of ten all around!

I came in to see Chhoeun in her new space in Portland to fix a botched haircut from a different salon. She did such a wonderful job with my straight, coarse Asian hair, meticulously and skillfully thinning it out the way I wanted with both shears and a light touch of a razor. It was clear that Chhoeun is very knowledgable about different types of hair. She really makes sure to understand what you want and takes the time needed to deliver it. She is also so warm and friendly, and her space is bright and private — such a pleasant experience! I had such a hard time finding a good hairstylist in Maine after being in big cities and I'm so happy to have found Chhoeun!

Chhoeun drove from Portland to Millinocket to do my bridal hair and make up and make I for 5 of my bridesmaid. She was so nice, professional, and talented. I loved my makeup and it held up thru a lot of tears, rain, and sweating while going hard on the dance floor.
