Absolutely amazing experience at Agape hair salon. The owner Vivian is amazing!! First, Vivian was willing to squeeze me into a busy Saturday without hesitation! It was so easy to schedule with her. She texts right back!! I wet in for a perm consultation and cut. Vivian and another stylist whose name I didn’t catch( sorry!) talked me through the perm process. They were so kind and honest. I was so appreciative of their expertise and willingness to be transparent. They truly cared about my hair and my happiness. They absolutely have the customers best interest in mind. My cut is amazing and was such a great price. I will absolutely be going back!! Anyone looking to get any hair service done, or honestly any service she provides, I highly highly recommend Vivian!!

I have straight/wavy long hair that had been previously highlighted about a year ago. I consulted with another salon and they told me that I wouldn't get curly like I wanted, but maybe some "texture" and the cost would have been $700+. I did some research and found Vivian, we did a consult and she took the time to understand what I wanted (lots of volume, curl and layers!), and she assured me we could achieve it and at a reasonable price! She was honest that my highlighted areas would be more damaged and may not hold the perm as well, but that it would still turn out beautiful. I'm so glad I trusted her with my hair, and will be coming back as well as sending my friends her way. Here is the before and after!

Vivian is amazing! I love how she keeps the salon looking just like a local Korean salon. My hair came out exactly how I wanted, and I really appreciate that she didn’t try to upsell anything.

This is one of those spots that you only really find by doing your research- which is very unfortunate! I found them from a reddit thread about getting perms in / near SLC. If you showed up and never looked at their google reviews, you’d think they’d have hundreds by the way you’re treated and how they cherish your business. It’s one of those places where you as the customer feel inclined to leave a review out of pure reciprocity. If this is your first perm, have faith and go through the process- by your second perm they will custom tailor your perm based on how your hair reacted to the first, which you can only know by doing so. Very worth it. If this is not your first perm and you’re just looking for a new or different salon near SLC, I promise you are not making a mistake by booking
