Afterglow Hair Studio

I just had my haircut at Afterglow—Leighann is a wonderful hairstylist. Book with her if you want to look fabulous! The salon has a great vibe and very friendly stylists.

This was a while ago but I can’t help but feel like I need to tell people. I went to this salon because it looked cute and at the time reviews were great. Got there and the employee was by herself and I waited 2 and a half hours past my appointment time to get my hair done I just think it’s unprofessional to leave one person to do all the work then she started working on 2 people at a time and left my hair in the shampoo bowl for about an hour even though she told me my hair gloss was only supposed to be on for 30 mins. Then when she was cutting my hair it looked great she knew exactly what I wanted ,but when it got to the styling part it looked bad. Now I have a pretty thick head of hair but typically stylists are able to dry it and style it decently. It took about an hour for her to dry

Went in for a trim and new style. Hali was absolutely amazing!! Definitely the salon to go to for a new look or freshen up the old look. Only salon I will be visiting and recommending.

Absolutely love getting my hair done here! The vibes are perfect and it's been a few weeks since I got my hair done by Mikaela, and I am still in love with the color and the cut just as much as I was the day she did it! 10/10 recommend!!

Afterglow just recently moved to their new space after being in downtown next to East End. I love going here! I’ve been seeing Mikaela since she was at Blüm (before they changed names and then moved to the new location), so probably three years now. I’m what I would consider a picky client and Mikaela has always rose to the challenge. She listens to feedback, gives me an opportunity to show her how I want it and is always happy to work with me to make sure I leave happy with my hair. On the rare occasion that I’ve needed something quickly fixed after the fact, she’s been able to squeeze me in for a quick trim up without an issue. The new space that she and her partner have created on Sagamore Parkway is spacious, comfortable and cheery. There is always good music on, and everyone there
