Such a sweet lady ! From New Jersey to Miami vacation to Fort Lauderdale, I was trying to find African braiding hair salons, and I discovered this one. I wanted the Tems hairstyle inspiration look and received just that!

Anita is a great braider and the styles will always look amazing. However, I’ve booked with her multiple times and always experienced extreme unprofessionalism. For instance, I wanted a specific style once and had confirmed the style with her. Upon getting to the salon, she claimed she thought I wanted another style and so she did half of my hair before giving me another person to finish while assisting another client. Another time, she wasn’t done with the previous clients hair and told me to come back, which I would’ve been fine with if she sent me a message beforehand. It just seems like she would benefit from an online scheduling system or just a more organized way of managing her appointments.

Ms Anita did me right with my hair, she was very efficient and extremely talented. She’s a kind-hearted woman and we had very good conversation, she delivered exactly what I had asked for and the service was amazing. She helped with aftercare instructions as well, and it way beyond my expectations based off of previous experiences with hair braiding. (I’m sunburnt in picture from previous braids, that is not from agitation)
