Exceptional service! The team at African Good Braids went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction, especially considering my 38-week pregnancy. While getting my hair done, I suddenly felt dizzy and nauseous, but the team quickly responded with concern and provided me with a comfortable place to rest. Their kindness, patience, and professionalism are truly commendable. The salon is clean, comfortable, and well-managed. I've finally found my GO-TO salon for cornrows, natural twist hairstyles after searching for so long! Their braiding skills are top-notch, and I highly recommend them for all your natural twist hairstyles & cornrow needs! I got my hair braided on the 17. It’s currently the 27. So I’ve had my hair braided 10 days. I take really good care of them and make sure to wear a shower cap, I use wrapping foam, braid spray, oils, and never even lay down without my bonnet on. I can usually get my braids to last 4+ weeks and still look good. Now, I have to say, this was the most painful braiding experience I’ve ever had. And for my hair to be loose as it is, it seems like that it was for no reason. My hair is also coming out of the braids really bad on the ends. No matter how much product I put I can’t make it look any better. The ladies were super nice and the shop was clean. It was just extremely painful and my ends look terrible. It took about 4.5 hours for my braids.For $250 I hoped for a little better quality.

African good braids is the best and confortable place you can have your hairs done exactly the way you want they really do have experience I recommend everybody to trust them they are the best🤗 I will definitely come back thank you so much I really love my hairs😍

I had my hair done there before about a year ago and they came out great. So I decided to go back a month ago. I made an appointment. When I got there every chair was full, I was told that the lady that was suppose to braid my hair was not there and to comeback at a later time. So I decided to reschedule for the next day. I comeback the next day the lady was late and had every excuse as to why I couldn’t get my hair a certain way which I had text a picture days ahead of time to make sure the style could be done. It was obvious that this particular braided could only do box braids. In the event I was desperate, I went ahead and leg her do them. I also asked her to wash my hair before. She barely blow dried my hair for 2 minutes so of course my hair was nowhere near blown out straight enough

This is the best braids I have ever had😍 the owner and braiders are so nice and patient thank you so much for the good work I will definitely come back I give you 5 stars
