I've been getting my hair braided here for about 10 years now. They are really good at what they do. I love large braids and Sela the owner/proprietor is excellent with them. I recommend them highly. They take walk ins, are very accommodating, the shop is very clean, and there are plenty of places nearby to go and get a quick snack if you're going to be sitting long. Overall I would rate it a 9 out of 10.

I am natural lady and new to the area. Was looking to have a nice long term protective style with no extensions. I had a bad experience the lady who owns the place pulled my hair and was very rough with it. She told she would charge me 80 initially for cornrows without extensions. She ended up charging me $95 saying it's a lot of work. I have long natural hair 4c natural hair. I wouldn't advice any natural lady to go there. She tore through every single stranded knot instead of gently detangling my hair. If you want someone who cares about your hair and is patient avoid this place otherwise you will not retain length.

Went to get my hair braid in a very short pixie style. I was charged 140.00 for short last time they charge 140.00 for long. They make up prices no price list. Yesterday the lady did not speak English had no license and could not produce one. I have been going there for over 15 years but will never go back. They never have air condition just cheap fans. I showed a pic of the style I wanted and she couldn’t get it very simple style. She braided my hair in the opposite direction I wanted it to lay. By the way 2 other people had issues also the owner gets mad if you call her on the way she’s doing your hair. They quick to grab sizzors to cut pieces they missed doing the braiding not caring if it’s your real hair. Am going to check to see if it’s legal for the owner to have people braiding yo

The prices seem to jump around depending on the person you communicate with. Over the phone was one price in person was a completely different price. I had to comb my daughter's hair and oil her scalp. The stylist didn't receive a tip because of it. but she did an excellent job braiding.
