I hated the boho braids, wrong color and too heavy, cheap Kankelon, took 6 hours and overpriced….I can’t stand the tightness and how Africans braid , from the past so I knew better. I should have said something but didn’t… Never again. Also, too much going on in the shop, babies at work crying, the relatives or friends not decently dressed, not professionals like American salons. I took down my hair next day and threw a wig back on until I braided it myself..

I had a wonderful first experience here. Kiki was very accommodating and Cathy finished me off with exceptional service. My knotless twists came out perfect, neat and so cute! I will be booking again.

I had a very disappointing experience with Kiki in June of 2024. Despite confirming the style and hair color a week in advance, she failed to acknowledge my messages. She also tried to reschedule my appointment last-minute due to her scheduling mistake, and when I arrived at my original appointment time, she wasn’t even there. The stylist who was present didn’t have the correct hair color, so I couldn’t get my hair done. When I called Nkiru to request a refund for my deposit, she was dismissive, denied our previous conversations, and ultimately refused to refund me before hanging up. To make matters worse, she later changed my appointment in the Styleseat app to a time I never requested in an effort to manipulate the system and keep my deposit. I booked my appointment at 12 they switched out braiders and still rushed on my hair They never braided it down all the way they were rushing ready to go home just wasted my money… I just edited this review because I don’t have to lie. I posted when I book my appointment because I always keep receipts. She told me book the 1045 and be there at 12 and that’s what I did and y’all still rushed on my hair I have videos of yesterday in your salon

Very professional, very nice and very clean ☺️ Will definitely be back, I’ve been trying to find a good braider since I started growing my hair out. Highly recommend these ladies! Kiki had me in and out in like 45 minutes tops for a braid down.
