Love this Aesop store! Always such a calm vibe. Aya was very knowledgeable and helpful and made the visit even better. Will definitely be back!

First visit to the Aesop store at Tysons Corner Mall. The space is pretty small, tucked in a corner. Very knowledgeable staff , taking the time to guide me through their fragrance collection and explaining the nuances of each scent. I ended up purchasing one of their signature perfumes, but the sales associate rung up, and scanned the wrong bottle at check out . (Fortunately contacted customer service about this and corrected issue days later) In addition to the fragrances, I was on the hunt for a few skincare essentials, namely an exfoliating mask and deodorant. The sales associate was not only helpful but also made thoughtful recommendations based on my skin type and preferences. I ended up with the Aesop exfoliating paste and Aesop Deodorant. The quality of their products speaks for it

Had a terrible customer service experience, the manager was rude and dismissive! We were brought in by a company email with an offer and if we spent $125 it included a sample set and if you spent $200 a tote. We showed the manager the email and asked if the $150 purchase we were about to make would qualify for the sample set, she said “no” and indicated there wasn’t any offer and she said “I’m telling you what I was instructed!” So we asked what the sample set we were supposed to get would be and she said “nothing” then pulled out a sample packet and said “I can throw this in unless you spend over $200” At this point, we decided to go to the Georgetown store and she said “Fine, whatever…” so off we went. I have been shopping at Aēsop & using their products for years, & I just had the worst in-store experience I’ve ever had. I received an email promotion about spending $125 & receiving a “deluxe sample bundle.” When I walked into the store with my husband, I asked the sales associate if she could show me what was in the bundle, to determine whether or not we wanted to spend $125, & she showed me three product samples. As we were browsing, another woman took over the interaction. (We’ve since learned that she is the new ASM.) She seemed pleasant enough, until we were at the register checking out. I asked her if our purchase qualified for the deluxe samples, & she said she had no idea what I was talking about, & asked me to “show her the email” I had gotten, which I did, & read her the spe

Manas was so patient, kind, and helpful during my first visit and purchase at Aesop! I had about 20 questions and she answered them all, while giving me space to deliberate and trying as many samples as I wanted. Winter has not been very kind to my skin, particularly my hands, and after trying a few of the products in store, my hands felt incredibly soft and moisturized! Also, every scent is so HEAVENLY. Thank you so much for a welcoming experience, Manas! (Someone else left a review deducting a star because this brand using plastic bottles— which I agree is a pain point for me. For the price of the products, I hope they consider more eco conscious packaging soon.)
