AE Beauty Spa 善上若水

Had a 60min "neck shoulder" massage with Mia - she is very strong and did a deep massage! She was careful to look for my cues of how much was too much/just right. It included hot stones and a warm towel to clean off oil. I was surprised that she went from top of head to bottom of feet (no toes) - focus was on the upper back, midsection, neck, but arms and legs were also included. Absolutely worth the money! Hidden gem by tangram. It's downstairs/underground, you won't see it if you drive by.

This place is right next to the Hyatt hotel in Flushing Queens. Coco and Emma are so skilled at massage, my wife and I went there twice within a couple days. We traveled around NYC and these massages rejuvenated us. What's particularly noteworthy is that Coco and Emma were both strong and knowledgeable about exactly were to apply pressure and soothe our tired/achy bodies. Before coming to New York, I had researched massage locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx and Queens but after our first visit here, it was obvious to us that this was our "go-to" massage spot (my wife is a Thai masseuse so we're very particular). If you wanna visit here, book online (most of the workers don't speak good English over the phone... though you can also use Google translate).

I have tried many massage places in Flushing and I keep going back to AE because the owner, Emma, is the best therapist I have found. In other places, you have to tell the therapist where it hurts, but Emma's fingers are so skilled that she finds every spot on her own. The place is also spotlessly clean. You can't find a better place to go!!

Not quite sure why it is called AE Beauty Spa because although they do facials it is primarily a massage place. I have only used the owner, Emma, so I can not comment on the others, though they are all friendly and nice. Emma is superb at what she does!! I started using her many years ago and followed her from spa to spa until she opened her own place. I recommend her highly !!!!
