Adrian Fanus Grooming

I decided to do the "big chop" & cut my locs that I've had for over 10 years and Adrian's salon came across my IG page- thank goodness. The customer service was great. I was greeted with a beverage and shown to the chair. Adrian was engaging, courteous, and professional. He cut my locs, styled my hair, gave it a great wash with his amazing smelling products. If you're looking for an amazing stylist book your appointment. You won't be disappointed- great haircut, excellent customer service, & good location- walking distance from the J train! Thanks Adrian, it was good seeing you after so many years!!!

AFG is easily the best barber shop in New York. It is a luxury experience. It begins with easy booking on their site and the availability of all of their barbers. Then, when you get there you are greeted by a beautiful salon, offered drinks, and a welcoming waiting space (which is rare as barber waiting areas can be really awkward for new clients). My cut was with Omarion who was kind, welcoming, and an attentive listener. 10/10 experience. Will be back.

My son is 5 years old, and Adrian Fanus Grooming has completely raised the bar. Appointments and walk-ins are available, but what really sets this place apart is the experience. The ambience, atmosphere, and customer service are top-notch. Omarion, his barber, is amazing — he makes Grey feel comfortable and excited, and they chat about everything imaginable while he gets his haircut. My son genuinely loves coming here. The full-service bar is such a great touch too — one complimentary beverage per service, and the rum punch is where it’s at. This is truly beyond just a barbershop. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Got my first big chop this morning and I feel amazing! Ladies, put your trust with Adrian. He is a patient, kind person with a heart of gold… and of course highly skilled with the clippers! You can tell he really cares about his clients and wants to ensure you feel that personal touch we all desire in service. I’m definitely going back and will tell my friends. Thanks Adrian!

Firstly, Adrian’s shop is aesthetically pleasing. Is very comfortable always clean and very spacious. It’s a beautiful space. Adrian did my big chop six years ago and that was my first time ever going to a barber. I never left him after that. I actually have an appointment this afternoon. He’s extremely patient, professional and generous. He makes his clients feel very safe and at home. I’m never uncomfortable in Adrian‘s chair. It feels like family at his shop. The other barbers are equally as professional and personable. Adrian connects with his clients. He works with you. He cares about how his clients feel about their hair and he provides stellar service. He asks questions, he makes sure his clients are well taken care of. I witness it in person and I have my own personal experiences.
