Devlin was waiting for me when I arrived. She was very nice and patient with me because I had no clue as to what I wanted to get done but she worked with me and I left satisfied..Africa was a real sweetheart as well..I love the atmosphere in the shop because they talk to you. It’s not boring and dry like most shops..they actually interact with their customers. Will definitely be going back

The staff are super friendly. The atmosphere is relaxing. The service is outstanding. The prices are very reasonable. The expertise of the stylists are phenomenal. Television on each wall so you dont miss the 'free' movie that's playing. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!

Listen. I'm very particular about my locs. I lived in Richmond from August 2015 until about 2 weeks ago. I found Whitney on styleseat probably September or October of 15 and haven't even LOOKED anywhere else. I'm from Mississippi...20 minutes south of Memphis. We take locs seriously down there. Whitney is the absolute best loctician I've ever had. Period. And now...she's teaching the others in her very own shop to do what she does. I don't know if yall understand how big that is...but if she was a CEO on Wall Street, she'd win awards for what she's doing. If you're in the RVA/Petersburg area and need your locs done, you're doing yourself a disservice if you don't go to Whitney.
