Adja African Hair Braiding

I have been here three times. I was satisfied for the first style. I Came during the summer and a new lady did my hair All her braids poked up from the roots. I came back again in June for kinky twists. This visit finalized my decision to never go back. 1st my hairbraider had her son there. He screamed & cried & threw tantrums for candy for almost 30 minutes. 2nd my whole back row of twists were cut at the ends and unraveled two days later. They curled the ends, which lasted one week. I paid $160 and was totally disappointed. Never will enter again nor recommend

HORRIBLE!!!! The lady told me 240 for regular knotless medium braids no Boho . and a wash I went to get my Cash, I come back and she tell me 260 with an attitude smirking. Excuse me???? This is exactly why this shop is always Empty 0 costumers 6 braiders . Over charging and the service is NOT GOOD. Please take your money to BROOKLYN OR HARLEM WHERE IT IS WORTH IT. They change the prices everytime and it stinks in there as well, why is the heat on in the summer???

I know ppl saying that they talk crap about you, but who caressss… we all talk smack lol… THIS PRETTY LADY Adja, she agreed to fix my hair that another chick screwed up! MIND YOU, this was after she already closed yall. She was TIIIIEDDDDD!!! She really did correct the issue, and bring my lil crappy braids back to life. I had to see my man the next morning in Miami, and HUNNY, I couldn’t go just “ anyhow “ … shidddd!!! SoOo, if she talked mess, ion care chyleee… she made me great again .. and she was already ready to go home. I tipped her and gave her more than what she even asked for. SHE ; Adja.. DESERVED IT!!! Put some respecKT on her name!!! Thanks girl. You saved my life ( you and your mom )... bc lord knows I didn’t wanna show up to my man in Miami like that !!!! Whew, chyleeee!!! 🥰🥰

It was my first time coming here and getting my hair braided. Im so happy with my braids. They took me in as a walk-in. The price was reasonable and i didnt wait long. The braids were a littlw bit smaller than i wanted but they look good. From what i saw all the ladies are skilled. Everyone was pleasant and i most definitely will be going back.

Clean, nice, and friendly atmosphere. My stylist Favor was great, took her time and gave me exactly what I wanted. Adja the owner is very friendly and fast with her braiding skills! I have to give her a try next time I go. The price wasn't too bad as well. If you're looking for a professional atmosphere, this is the place to go.
