ADA African Hair braiding

New to Charleston sc and these ladies are so nice and professional. I don't know anything about hair. They sent me two options with picture of hair choices and location. I love that you are able to feel safe in this environment. The prices are perfect. The work they did was awesome. Please pray for us parents Ada you got our kids feeling themselves 😆😂 I will definitely come back.

The atmosphere was nice and welcoming, and I arrived with freshly washed, product-free hair. However, my appointment took much longer than expected. An excessive amount of gel was used, and I left with visible white residue on my scalp. It has now been 3 days, and the buildup is still noticeable. I also would have appreciated more professionalism. Hands were not washed after eating, gum was chewed loudly, and there were very loud phone conversations throughout the service. Additionally, my middle part is not straight, which was disappointing. While the braids themselves are decent, the overall experience and attention to detail did not meet my expectations.

Omg I’m so glad I found this place. As soon as I walked in, the atmosphere was so welcoming. Everyone was so nice and they even included you in their conversations. I was laughing the whole time I was in the chair. My braider exceeded my expectations and she was quick and so neat. I wish I would’ve gotten her name, but nonetheless I’ll be back. Oh and my hair looks exactly like the inspo pic! Now don’t go taking up all the appointments nie, I’m going on vacation next month 😂

Ada took good care of me over a month ago and my braids still look amazing! I told her that I needed to pick my kid up at a certain time, so she had another braider to help and they finished really early, which was great, being that I have difficulty sitting too long. They both were excellent and didn't braid too tight or damage my edges! I did not lose one braid and my hair has also grown a lot. Ada had the sweetest personality and this has been a really great experience! Thank you Ada!
