First picture is reference. I told them I want a French crop with a mid taper burst fade. The first picture of my hair is what I left with the second picture is me going back in 5 mins later and having him fix it. He told me it was just wet and to style it it'll be fine. It was not fine. He did not give me a French crop and didn't seem to know what I was talking about at all. He sprayed my hair wet, brushed it out and put 'layers' in it like I had long hair. I went back in twice In total, and the fourth picture is me at home 2/3days later. I am really unsatisfied and have to grow my hair out to be cut right

TLDR: DIDN'T DO THE STYLE I ASKED - LIMITED SERVICES OFFERED. I decided to try out this barbershop in this area as I haven't been able to find a decent one in the Dayton area. It seems I will continue to search. I scheduled an appointment and the day of, I arrived ten minutes beforehand and got checked in. I had a somewhat younger gentleman doing my haircut today and I show him a photo of the facial hair cut that I want to do. It is pretty straightforward in my opinion. I had a full beard, not an insanely burly beard but long enough that it should be easier to cut it down to shape it and style it. Have been going to AD for a couple years now. They have always done an excellent job. Walk-ins can be a bit of a wait but well worth it if you have to. I recommend making an appointment for efficiency. Hot towel, shave, great cut, nice staff. Extremely professional and easily the best barber shop in Dayton. New location in centerville is also super convenient.

Let's be honest...one of the seldom discussed nuances of moving every few years with the military is finding a barber you're comfortable with.
