ACME Distribution Center

Hey everyone heading here—heads up, there’s no overnight parking. Sure, there’s a big lot in front of the guard, but they kick you out. Then you end up wandering around like a stray dog looking for a spot. That’s my personal experience, at least. As for the check-in and work itself…yeah, can’t say much good. This place is awful. I checked in at 1:50 AM, and it’s almost 6 AM now, and I’m still waiting for my paperwork. The only positive? The girl taking the paperwork. She smiles, actually seems like a decent human, and keeps her vibe positive even when stuck dealing with tired, grumpy truck drivers who don’t even return a smile. Big thanks to her—without her, this place would get one star, not two ;)

ACME Distribution Center – Denver, PA What a clown show. The QR pre-check-in isn’t bad and security scanning the QR code when you arrive is actually one of the smoother parts of the process. After the gate, reefer drivers hang a right to the staging area and wait for a text with your door. Just know the door number will appear after the word “Fresh:” in the message, which is a little confusing if you’ve never been here. Once you get a door, break your seals, open your doors, back in, then bring your paperwork into the office. Now here’s where things go sideways. You’ll get a Capstone text for the lumper fee. In my case I was already given the green light, paid the lumper, and then suddenly I’m told to go back to the dock because a pallet was rejected for “missing a label.” So now I’m

Appt time: 0700 Arrival time: 2200 (the night before) Departure time: 1300 I arrived early and parked on site. Was told i couldn't. Parked on the street outside the site; was forced to move along with 4 other trucks by Acme security (same guys that moved me the first time). Found a Turkey Hill gas station with truck parking 9 miles away. Had to use PC to get there. GPS took me through Amish country roads to reach it. Got back to ACME thirty minutes early for 0700 appt (dont ask me how). Still here at 1pm. This place is a nightmare and they need to be stopped. Stop accepting loads to here! Problem solved!

My experience was on good end of this facility. It’s pretty much like the Walmart dc, 3-4 hours average wait and then you’re good to go. You park at pre stage area which is outside of building, scan the QR code do your pre check in. Once it’s completed their system will send you a QR code to your cell, and then you drive to the gate for check in. After check in take right, it’s where stage area located and then you wait for the system to assigned dock door. Once you got door, back into it and bring your paperwork to the office. Unloading took like 30mins but paperwork take longer. My app was 0700, I arrived at 0530 and left like 0900. Not bad, it’s just like Walmart DC.

No over night parking...told to leave the staging parking ..Remarkably after u left do not take the toll way 76 it will take u 28 milles to get back around.. however I came back 2 hrs. On my appointment time and right away I checked in and got a door in 30 min. Started unloading, payed my lumper and waited for the ppr work. Easy in n out
