Good for an event but not long term use. I called last minute to get an appointment in and they were super nice and able to get me in before they closed for the day. When i got there, there was no music or anything playing and I forgot my headphone so was kinda awkward to sit in silence/ listen to the technicians conversation the whole time. She honestly did a great job and they looked amazing but 2 days later a nail fell off and then a few days later another and another, hardly lasted 2 weeks and I didn’t have time to get them fixed.For Nantucket prices it wasn’t super expensive but I work as a server and need my nails secureeeee and didn’t really find that here, they did look great leaving the salon tho!

I went into Ack Beauty Salon for a trim a few weeks ago. The woman cutting my hair showed me how much I needed cut off, which was about an inch to an inch and a half. She ended up cutting off four inches and left me with a completely uneven cut. I didn’t notice how uneven it was until the following day when a friend took this photo of the back of my hair. I have never been so disappointed by a haircut, especially for over $100 for a wash and cut, no styling. I would never recommend this business to anyone

I recently had a gel manicure done here, and I'm disappointed because two of my nails chipped after only three days. Usually, gel manicures are much more durable, so this was unexpected. I'm not sure what caused the issue, but it definitely affected my experience. The service was alright, but the manicure itself didn't last as long as it should have. Based on this, I probably wouldn't recommend getting a gel manicure here.

This was my second time at Ack Beauty while on Nantucket and I cannot recommend Val enough! She is a perfectionist. Amazing very thin dip manicure that feels like regular polish but lasts 2+ weeks. I wish I could find someone this great in Boston!

I went here with my bridal party and they were absolutely wonderful! They kept Everything up to date with my group appointment and were super polite! The ladies were so sweet and beyond kind! The kept everything sanitized cause of covid. They did a beautiful job with my gel fill and pedi. Definitely worth the experience and money!
