I went here a handful of times, fair priced for a good haircut. I keep my hair long on the top and buzzed around the sides. So I go here for just a trim for my longer hair, and shaving down the sides, not even a fade, nothing complicated. But for my visit today, I noticed when I got home that she ended up shaving higher and crooked on one side of my head making my hair completely uneven. It was so bad that I literally shaved my head, there was no fixing it. It really sucks bc she’s very nice, but I can’t go back here and wouldn’t recommend.

Im a younger person with different needs when it comes to hairstyles I came there with pictures and I speak Spanish and try to communicate my needs and wants since im the one paying ive went there about 4 times in the past 2 years and without a dailt it always lets me down , but recently I just went there and it didnt go as planned I had showed her a picture of what I wanted and she gave me something totally different when I tried to ask her if she could cut more she told me to style it and then it'll look like the picture mind you I wanted a pixie not a Karen's cut I styled it it looked horriable and had to fix it myself wasting 18 dollars pls if your looking for newer hairstyles and better haircuts go somewhere else , the lady is nice and Im not hating

I've been there several times before and didn't have a bad experience but this last one was a really bad experience with the haircut she gave me ... so bad I had to go back to have her fix my hair but it didn't fix it ...in the end still looks horrible....and I've only had to go back to a barber one time to fix a really bad fade...I showed a pic and it was pretty simple the haircut that I wanted ....wasted time and money ...I liked the place before because she is friendly and I didn't leave hating my haircut but the price did go up from $12 to $17 and also it takes too long waiting sometimes because she's the only one there ....and even though hair grows back it's not the point ....no one wants to leave a barber and have to put a hat on and then go to another barber to fix their hair! ..if

Aby’s is THE best cash-only salon I’ve ever been to! I’m visiting Chicago for a wedding and needed a quick trim the day before. Every salon was charging $70+ to only trim my split ends, and Aby charged me $14–happily left her a $20. While I was in the chair, I asked how much it would be for a root touch-up and a blow-dry the next day—happily paid $70. I was in at 9am today (Sat) and out at 10:20. She’s efficient, friendly, honest, and speaks Spanish. I’d highly recommend her if you’re looking for a good value. It’s like stepping back in time and paying 90s prices! I missed haircuts under $20 and Aby’s got it!!
