Aby's African Hairbraiding

Amazing literally the best African Hair Braiding shop Aby. The owner is so great at what she does the Braids or Customer Service. I love this place been going there for years. My auntie is my sister’s every braid that I showed them every style and info they were able to get it exactly how I wanted it.

Please do not get your braids done at this place. Not only do the workers have nasty attitudes they can't even follow instructions. I asked for medium braids on the smaller side. She starts off small on the bottom and then the braids gradually get larger and larger. The workers procrastinate talking to others on the phone, or texting instead of doing your hair which you PAY them to do. They couldn't even finish my hair in time for work. So I had to leave I still paid them out of courtesy because I trusted them. In return they make me wait another 3 hours taking advantage of the fact that I paid them while they get out like fat rats. These guys only care about the money and are very inconsiderate and have no problem taking advantage of you and your ignorance. There are much better and more

They never disappoint!! Cheated on my old hair braiding lady because she wasn’t available with Aby and never went back! Aby makes sure all her hair braiders perform high quality braiding.. today was the 3rd person I've used in the shop and it literally gets better every time! Also they braid fast.. 4hrs max for medium box braids and I have a thick head of hair! Nothing like a fresh set of quality, neat, long box braids for vacay! 2 thumbs up 👍🏾

I showed them a picture of what I wanted. Not only did Fatima fail to replicate what was in the photo, she also braided in my edges (I guess she would prefer me bald or receding hairline), and DIDNT FINISH THE BRAID! I went back the next day to try and loosen the tight braids busting my edges and get the ends redone and she told me she would only re-do the ends because i tipped her. And if you do go, make sure the person you speak to is actually at the shop. Aby told me to come at 2:30 and Fatima wasn't even halfway through Medium knotless braids and Aby wasn't even at the shop! HARD PASS

The person braided my hair very neatly and it looked nice, but the style wasn't anything close to what I asked for. Showed them a photo twice!! And ended up with something completely different. My stylist also seemed more concerned about her feelings and not her customer. The stylist helping seemed more concerned and I wasn't her client ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
