Absa Hair Braiding

Came in the shop, got right in the chair. They asked me about the style of my hair, I requested mid back small box braids. She gave me a price. As she gets in the middle of my head. They started to argue BADLY , one was someone elses braids<there were several other ladies there in the chair getting they're hair braided as well> they went on for at least 30 to 35 minutes. Couldn't figure out what they were yelling about at first. Then I realized after listening it was the length of my hair, the young lady braiding my hair went past what I asked for. I asked was there an issue and she said no. 20 minutes after that they argued again. She started to cry etc. I said if there is an issue take this out and I will leave. I highly recommend this braiding shop 10/10! From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. They made me feel comfortable and taken care of throughout the entire process. The atmosphere was relaxed and professional, and they took their time to make sure I was happy with the style I chose. The quality of the braiding was top-notch neat, clean, and exactly what I asked for. You can tell they really care about their work and their clients. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to my friends and family!

I got medium knotless waist length braids. They provide hair but I chose to bring my own. The colors I used were 27 and 4. She did mix the hair for me. I came as soon as they opened at 9am and got right in. We started around 930 and I left around 6. So bring a portable charger for your phone and a book because it’s a long process. I love the results and I will be going back.

I will recommend Absa hair braiding to any and everyone. I haven't let anyone braid my hair in 15 years but myself. But I let them braid my hair today and it came out amazing. 5 stars 🌟

Says open at 0900 but nobody was there. Me and other ladies called and the female sounded like she was still in bed sleep. Once the workers came they didn’t start until 10:15-10:30am. They took a very long time to finish, stayed on the phone watching TikToks, and YouTube. Then they were stopping halfway to have a group dinner. 0/10 I don’t recommend I didn’t even want to put a star on this review
