I got my hair done with Lupita, she’s been doing my hair for about 2 years now and she is the best! She is my favorite hairstylist, and I’ve seen many over the years! She always gives me exactly what I want, she pays attention to detail, and she’s very professional. My highlights are always super blended and have a nice/soft grow out. I love Cheyenne at About Me Hair Studio. She’s completely transformed my hair and restored my confidence. I refuse to see anyone else when it comes to my hair color/cut. When I came to her my hair was so brassy from a previous stylist and she was able to fix it. Every time I come in with an inspiration photo she’s able to match it. Serious Heat Damage from a Simple Blow Dry I visited this salon back on December for a basic blow dry. No chemical services, no treatments, nothing complicated. It has now been over a month, and after multiple washes, my hair still smells burnt and feels dry, stiff, and damaged. I have always had soft, sleek hair, and this has never been an issue for me before this visit. During the service, the stylist blowdried my hair with the nozzle touching my hair, without the proper concentrator attachment, which causes extreme heat damage. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize how serious this was at the moment. To make it worse, my hair was then flat-ironed afterward, causing double heat damage. I had my hair cut I believe by Krystal back in December and I’m still so happy! She did such a great job and my hair is so much healthier! Definitely will be back! The first picture is right after the cut, and the next is my natural hair. I haven’t had this many ringlets in years due to damage!
