I had a waxing appointment, and this was my first time. I was assigned to Kanta. While she did try to be thorough, I found myself having to ask her multiple times to redo certain areas because there were patches of hair left behind. She also mentioned a few times that she was feeling hot or dizzy, which didn’t make me feel very confident about the service. I still tipped her for her effort, but I don’t plan on returning. I think the salon needs to improve its level of professionalism and consistency.

Had a good experience with Yunica for eyebrow threading. I made an appointment online a day before for 5PM. On the day of, I had time earlier, so I called to see if I could get it moved earlier to 3 and they were able to accommodate. I ended up needing to wait ~10 minutes since Yunica was helping someone else. I was personally in and out in less than 10 minutes. Yunica took the time to check in with me and adjusted to the way I wanted. Huge plus is that they take card. Parking is super hectic in the plaza. I noticed a ton of really bad parking jobs, so be aware..

I wanted to try vegan hair color for my roots. Cori is amazing and very sweet. She made me feel so comfortable and of course did a great job. The color came out very nice and looked perfect. I have henna I color and some streaks are deep red so it's hard to match the color. She made the mix based on my existing shade and henna hair. I didn't even see any hair book. And truly i was impressive by her skills. I also got threading done from here which was done nicely as well. Ambience is okay, a bit loud sometimes.

She did mention at times that she was feeling hot, she is feeling dizzy etc. Overall I did tip her for her service but won't be coming back again. They need to improve their professional service. For ex: If you are waxing other leg, one needs to walk close to the leg instead of bending on entire table. There are very basic gestures that scream professional. I was charged $90 for arms, legs and underarms which is decent for bay area. Overall, for waxing go elsewhere.

I’ve been going to Aarna for a while, but it wasn’t until sometime last year that I booked with Yunica on a whim. I was hooked on her threading technique and the shape of my eyebrows immediately after. She is now my favorite brow lady (unless I have an emergency and can’t see her)! Her demeanor is also very sweet, she will listen to your preferences and ask about your day. Their salon is clean and conveniently right across a popular shopping plaza to run your errands. They’ve seen me as a walk in once or twice, but I advise to use their easy online system to book ahead of time. :-)
