A Village Barber Shop

This is the perfect American barber shop. It should be in the Sarasota and Englewood tourist guides, for those who want to find a bit of classic Norman Rockwell America. Best of all, you walk out with a great haircut. Refreshing that they only take cash. Paxton, Mike and Marcia are the best. The mint green tile and terrazzo floor take you right back to when Ike Eisenhower was president and Mamie was First Lady. Thank you for keeping this tradition going.

Great "Old school Barber shop". 3 chairs ready to go. Been there 2x, Mike is great! Doesn't rush, takes serious pride in his craft. 👍👍 Please note the hours open with my posted photo. Update with new photo of the hours. Was 8amto 5pm on Friday. 😡 Changed Friday hours to 8:00 am to 4:00 NOT HAPPY. Got here just before 4:00 Nobody here. Guess they don't need the business.

Old timey Barber shop, neat atmosphere. Wish they would say up front that it's cash only, had to drive to an ATM down the street, but the service was excellent, including the neck shave and electric shoulder massager.
