Beware if you have curly hair! I came here for partial highlights, which I've gotten before with no issues. The hairdresser reassured me that I didn't need to worry. Well, my curls are completely destroyed. I've been trying repair products for 2+ months with no improvements. To make matters worse, the highlights don't even look good - they're chunky and look gray, not blonde. I reached out to the salon owners asking for help or advice, and they never responded. I'm devastated - I loved my curls, and now my hair is flat, stringy and dull. If you're reading this - go somewhere else!

I got a haircut from Colleen. She was nice, but I asked for shorter hair, which was a big change from my long/medium. I showed her a picture where the person had hair right about mid neck. Before she cut it, she then put her hands right at mid neck to show where she would cut it. I was very excited for this! So she asked if I was ready to commit and I said yes, and she cut it way shorter than I wanted it, to just below my chin. It was too late. I now need my hair to grow two inches before I will feel confident again. I also showed her that I have wavy hair but really only just wash it for care, and she said she would cut it so that it wouldn’t look not done if she cut it. Have been a long time client of Colleen at Tania's. She's very professional and accommodating with scheduling. I normally get highlights, but every once in awhile I like to change it up and Colleen is always up for the task. I'm always happy with the end result. And I love the Aveda products! I've also gone to Jenna for my nails. She's amazing. She has so many fun and creative ideas if you want to try something new. You can tell she really loves her job and wants her clients to be happy with the finished product. The other staff are polite, welcoming and friendly.

The owners of this salon-Colleen and Caitlin - are so personable and down to earth. Both are extremely talented hair dressers as well. All of the staff are welcoming and inviting when you go into the salon. Colleen has been doing my hair for at least 10 years and I am always complimented on my cut and color alike. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone!!

Wow, my hair looks like I'm twenty again..very kind and caring staff yet so professional! They really know what they're doing and made me feel so welcome and comfortable. A little pricey for a color and a cut but I really needed it after a few months grown out... They're encouraging me to come in for maintenance and it looks so good, I just might... Plenty of parking along Albion St. My stylist was Mary Getchell but I suspect they're all great!
