A Time to Spa

I live 45 minutes from here. A spa pedicure outing was scheduled with my best friend and I. Her pedicure went fabulous. Mine quite the opposite. The nail tech (Versace glasses) could not remove gel polish. After using a sanding sponge until the nail beds turned very red and irritated and later, bled, she told me she only had time for a basic pedicure. She was more concerned with the next appointment than I sitting in front of her. She kept trying to use this nail polish remover that came in a nail polish bottle, sanding and scraping super hard in between. She kept asking me many questions of what kind of gel I had. I had a gift certificate for a massage and facial. It was challenging scheduling then I received 2 different calls confirming (it felt like they wanted me to cancel). The day after for a few days my upper back was very sore. I went to check out and presented my gift certificates. Apparently they were bought at a cheaper price and I had to pay the $14 difference which felt very odd and wrong to me.

I've been there about five or six times now, after receiving a gift certificate from my boyfriend. Ashley did my massage and she was phenomenal. Mentioned it was my first massage and she was so sweet and made me feel comfortable very quickly. Joti did a facial for me and has done my nails every time since. She is the BEST. She does a great job and makes it a wonderful experience. 👏
