A Step Above Beauty Salon

Very clean and great customer service! I love Stephanie and we have the best conversations! When I went natural, I started coming here for me and my son's haircuts. In February Stephanie started my locs! Been going to the salon since 2020 and I love it! 2023 Update: I have posted one picture of the day Stephanie started my locs in February 2022 and another from February 2023. She also did my color.

I wanted a Salon who would care for my hair and put life into the growth of it. I went to several salons looking for what I wanted but I could not find it in those salons and I didn’t feel the spirit of welcome nor did my hair. My friend Peggy told me about Step Above-Stephanie Everything she told me about Stephanie I found it to be true my 1st visit She is very professional. She knows hair. I am so impressed with my first visit to A Step Above Beauty Salon. The customer service is excellent. Facility is clean and follows all safety guidelines. The atmosphere is welcoming and very comfortable. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable on hair care, and all services related. I am so thankful that I was referred to the salon and I am looking for to becoming a regular.

First of all, I have not been to the new place yet due to the fact I had knee surgery. I know the service is still the same as what I am getting at my house. I have been going to Stephanie for many years. I can let everyone know how kind and compassionate my beautician is. Stephanie has been making house visits just to do my hair. She is an outstanding beautician who is very talented and knows what she is doing as well as her husband(Tim) who washing hair. I am very much satisfied when I look in the mirror. I have never been disappointed with a cut, hairstyle or even color. If you want a beautician that is gifted and talented stop by A Step Above Where The Name Says It All. The name is the truth. She could not have picked a better name. Stephanie and Tim, keep doing what you are doing.

I love this salon! Stephanie, owner & stylist, is amazing! Not only is she a great stylist, but she's knows the science behind what she does!! Beyond being a wonderful place to get a great service, it does not take her all day to do it! Never over books and rarely have to wait.... I love it!!
