A+ Spa

First time here and it was a great experience. Stiff in the neck and shoulders and lower back. The place is super clean other places are a bit scary. Sheets and pillows are new and comfortable. When I left I felt relaxed will be back for a second time .

The massage quality was good - but very incomplete. I had booked (and paid for) a 60 min massage. I was given 45 minutes (back of body only) - the massage began at 6:45pm and ended at 7:30. Tiffany brought me the receipt - indeed, I had paid at 6:39. So certainly massage didn’t start until 6:45, what with getting changed etc. She said that going to bathroom and getting changed would be deducted from the time. I balked at this - never in my life have I had a massage that deduced change time from the massage time. She also asked me to pay prior to the massage for 60 mins (I did) and asked me if I wanted to leave the tip prior (I didn’t.). It was meant to be a full-body massage - but there was no head, no feet, no hands, no front of body. So overall, a very disappointing experience.

1st time here, I was surprised after I went up stairs and walked in the place is super clean and modern inside, met the lady Lilly after entering and was shown to a very nice room, the lady that showed up was very attractive and professional in the massage, I got extra firm pressure which was what I needed to get to loosen up my back after traveling 3 plus hours. I can highly recommend this place for massage. I saw when I walked in it looks set up for multiple stations of food massage. Give them a call, I just walked in and they took me in immediately. For me it was 5 Star service all the way!

I wanted to share a story with you and maybe you too can relate. Thinking it was going to be a normal day at work but found that the day was tense, stressful and chaos which by the time the day was over I had a splitting headache and had pain in my lower back, and shoulders. Rather than going home I made a point to go directly to A+Spa in San Rafael without an appointment. When I arrived I was greeted warmly by the receptionist and was very gracious to fit me into their schedule. As the therapist worked on me I felt the stress and aches disappear. The attendant focused on the work and by the time the hour was over I left refreshed; headache gone and the pain in my shoulders and lower back also gone. Leaving with a bottle of water it was like I received 8 hours of sleep. I believe in

The massage pressure was perfect—firm but gentle. I could feel all the knots releasing. Definitely coming back for more.
