A Salon Named Desire

In need of a trim I tried this salon in Pleasant Ridge next to Nine Giant. It offers a very friendly staff, a relaxing vibe and talented stylists (Jackie was my stylist). The salon will be moving just up the street around the end of August which will be great for those with mobility issues as the current shop requires going up a number of stairs. Still, this establishment is highly recommended.

Carrie never disappoints! She masterfully combines high- and low-lights to blend my grays while looking natural, and cuts my hair in a way that adds volume and definition that enhance my natural waves. 5 stars!

I have been to at least ten salons in the Kenwood-Cincinnati areas over the past several years. I can say for sure this is the best salon in Cincinnati. Many salons classify their stylists as "mastery levels" and they are no more skilled than the beginners. A Salon Named Desire understands the need for education and growth....and because of this, can offer TRUE mastery in skills.

Love this place! These are color, cut and style pros. They are experts in color and I come out looking my best every time. The location is super urban and cool. While waiting for your color to work, you sit at a comfortable table with magazines, great herbal tea and other patrons to meet. I enjoy going here. Juile has been doing my hair for years and I feel as though I am part of the Salon family.
