I received a no chip by the owner of the salon. She was pleasant and we had good conversation during the service. When I left the salon, I noticed my nail had began to chip. I received a survey for the visit and completed it. I included that my nail had began to chip and also commented on the fact that I was charged a different price than what was on the website. Next to the service it had a price with a plus sign next to it. It was explained to me when I paid for my nails that the plus sign meant that there was an extra charge for more experienced nail techs, which included the owner, I let the receptionist know that this was not clear on the website and suggested it be explained better. After not hearing back from my review comments, I emailed the salon explaining my service experience.

1st time going to this salon, based on a google search for black owned nail salons. Great service. Clean and relaxing atmosphere. Owner operator, Monica did my mani and pedi and I am well pleased. She was pleasant and proffessional. I will be back.

I debated on whether I should leave a review or not but I've decided that my review my help someone. I recently for my nails done t a Polished Work. The work was very poorly executed. My feet was still ruff on the heels and my fill in was terrible! They charge you to remove polish if they didn't Polish it. One of my nails broke the very next day. Instead of repairing it as a courtesy they tried to charge $5. It wouldn't have broken if it was fine correctly. Also, the paint job was sloppy. A week later another nail broke. I added pictures for reference. It's safe to say I won't return.

The service was subpar and overhyped. The tech rushed through my service. She failed to shape my nails. I had to do it. I was not offered cuticle oil at the end of the service. I booked 2 no chip manicures and 2 no chip polish changes for toes. The cost was quoted at $120. When it was all said and done, the cost was $137 for both people. $137 for polish changes is ridiculous. Had my nails not looked as if the tech is operating without a license, the price would not be an issue. The owner is charging Betty ODay Spa prices for Walmart manicure work. Photos have been posted. Also, the location smelled of mildew. While being serviced, I asked the tech, "Should the surface of my nails be bumpy?" She then removed the polish and buffed the surface of my nails again.
