A Plus Hair & Nails

This is my new favorite spot for nails, wax and hair ! They are incredibly talented and friendly, and Hanna is amazing with all nails but specially with CHROME ! This place is a serious hidden gem in Tyson’s. I came here once to get a wax, nails and blowout and I 10/10 recommend. As a black woman, I was so impressed at how flexible they were in attending to my hair needs (brought my own conditioner and my hair is relaxed). Thanks to the team for making me feel right at home!

Michael has been my hair stylist for over 8 years and always does a great job!! My prior hair stylist did a horrible job... my hair was damaged and in awful condition. I lucked out when I found another salon in my neighborhood and Michael was the stylist recommended to fix my damaged hair and hair color. And Michael did indeed fix my hair; it was no easy feat! I have been a loyal customer ever since. Michael changed my hair color to something more flattering and appropriate with my skin tone, as well as transforming my unsightly damaged hair back to healthy and pretty (see attached photo from today's appointment). I got my nails done on May 4, 2024. They look pretty terrible. The older guy that did them did not know what he was doing. You would never think that I just got my nails done yesterday based on how they look. It’s terrible. I live in Arlington, VA, and happened to be in the area and decided to get my nails done. I’m so upset that I wasted my money and tipped for this deplorable service.

Very nice salon I found while on vacation. I got a dip manicure and very happy with it. They were very helpful in assisting with color and design choices. Offered beverages which was nice and space was clean and comfortable. Would return if back in the area.

The nail techs were amazing. We got simple pedicures but felt so comfortable and cared for the whole time. Also the pedicure station chairs are massage chairs so really all you need for a complete spa day is to walk with some wine, sit, relax and let them do what they do best. Trust that your nails are in good hands!
