A New You Spa

I’m embarrassed to say that I’ve driven by A New You a million times and have never been there. Last month I went on a few Milton FB sites seeking a recommendation for massage therapists in the area. A New You was recommended several times so I took the plunge. Let me tell you this…..Yvonne at A New You is THE BEST massage therapist I’ve ever had. I’m very particular. I like deep tissue. I like karate/fist chops that “beat me up”. I like massages that are from strong hands. strong. I don’t like elbow and arms (I feel like this is a sign of weakness in the hands). I’m in a service industry that is tough on the body and need someone to work out the kinks and boy, does Yvonne deliver!! Nice, clean spa in Milton, MA. They have all the things a lady can want or need in a spa. They book fast, so call in advance. I get my nails done (they don't do designs or acrylics, but they are good), and I get full body massages. I'm gonna try a facial next. Staff is great and friendly. I highly recommend it.

Unapologetically horrible service and business! I had a scheduled nail appointment at their opening. After sitting in the waiting area for 20 minutes past my appointment time, I finally had to ask the receptionist how much longer?? She informed me, after calling the nail tech, that she wasn't coming in until later. This was a scheduled appointment in their book! There was no offering to reschedule or anything other than an obligatory "sorry, it's not my fault". You run a business based on making appointments, but don't keep those appointments?! Also the sign on the door has the hours of operation, but that clearly doesn't mean anything as well.

A New You is a wonderful escape. The salon is very tasteful and clean. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and talented. The owner Lily is truly gifted and she cares about all of her clients. I have been to many salons both in the area and all over the country and I have never had a facial as amazing as the ones I receive from Lily and at a very reasonable price. I love to go to A New You and relax while feeling pampered. I highly recommend it to everyone.
