A Cut Above

From a first-timer: exceptional service and quality. Jim is the best. A Cut Above exceeded all my expectations. This was my first time there. Jim squeezed me in later in the day. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the pristine cleanliness of the place. Maintaining such a spotless environment as a barbershop is already a true accomplishment! Jim is a professional who knows his craft. His scissor cut technique was nothing short of phenomenal. He was quick and smooth about his work. And, the conversation was lively. The convenient location is perfect too. Regardless of your age or hairstyle preferences, I'd recommend this place.

Great little locally owned barber shop and salon. Made an appointment with Jim who was understanding and accommodating. Was very patient with my 8 year old son and did a great job on our hair. He also accommodated my brother who really just tagged along and didn't have an appointment. Thank you Jim we are "A Cut Above" family now.

Marie and Jimmy are phenomenal and highly experienced barbers. I call ahead and ask to get an appt with whomever is available. They are kind, personable, attentive and most importantly, clean. Great location and very affordable price. They take card, which is a nice convenience compared to many other barbershops that don’t. Definitely recommend this place.

Jim is the best. He is great with my two sons (ages 5 and 2). He is patient and makes them feel comfortable. We love it here!!
