A Cut Above

I've been going to this salon since moving to Taunton back in 2022. I went in once and never crossed my mind to try anywhere else. The entire staff is super friendly! I also go tanning at this establishment which is so convenient to say the least. My hairdresser Gina is excellent and "gets me" and what I need and when ☺️ Highly recommend even if not right in your area. Worth the drive !

I hadn’t been to a salon since the days when they were still called beauty parlors, so I was a bit intimidated by the idea of getting a professional haircut. The staff at A Cut Above was friendly and made me feel welcome and comfortable. Their prices for services were very reasonable compared to other salons I considered visiting. Maryellen, who cut and styled my hair, had a lovely personality and did my hair exactly the way I requested. She checked the cut several times to make sure it was perfect, which it was. I will definitely be back to see her when I need a trim!

I have been going to A Cut Above for years now, and i can confidently say they are the best salon in the taunton area. I’ve gone to multiple stylists here, and they always get me to an end result i love! they communicate everything they are doing, and are genuinely one of the most respectful, professional and friendly salons. if you are looking for a new salon i recommend a cut above with no doubt in my mind☺️

Everytime I come here, I come out genuinely satisfied. I'm not one who usually trusts people with my hair because of how complex the hairstyles i want usually are. However, the people here are so nice and are such good listeners, especially Cheryl. I can come in with a photo of a fictional 3D animated character as reference and she immediately gets it right. It impresses me honestly, I'm very happy about my hair trim and the haircuts I've gotten here before that.

Maryellen did my perm and I love it, she was amazing and did a fantastic job! The salon is lovely and everyone is so friendly. My first time but it will definitely not be my last.
