A Cut Above Hair Salon and Spa

This was my first time receiving a cut from Skip, who was recommended to me by my fiancé. I had heard Skip was a skilled stylist who would do my hair justice. My needs were to cut off all the dead hair and have a manageable style. Skip was straight to the point on how to clean up my hair and create a style that was easy to take care of. It turned out to be the shortest hair length I have ever had and it was beautiful. My hair looked richer and more vibrant (probably because there was too much dead hair) and the style has been easy to maintain since the cut. I will be returning to Skip for future hair needs!

I had to skip cut my hair. I have curly hard that is difficult to cut. I think he did a very nice job. My hair looks healthy and he really listened to what I asked. He did not take too much length and I was happy with the results. I’m not easily to please when it comes to hair to be honest I’m fussy. He was very pleasant and funny. I really had a nice first experience and I recommend them. I am a democrat (I voted against Trump every time) and I saw the post about them taking about trump too much after going but I completely disagree. During my haircut I happen to mention that my husband and I have different opinions on certain areas of politics. I haven't gone to a salon in years and decided for a change in style. Went to Skip with little idea of what I wanted and he did an amazing job finding a style for my facial structure. He also wanted to be sure that the daily maintenance would fit my lifestyle (i.e. be relatively low maintenance). I'm very happy with the results and will definitely be back.

Sophie has been cutting my hair for years. She has incredible insight for colors and styles. I have never left with a bad cut or color. She also saved my husbands horrible hair cut and restyled it as well as cuts my sons hair. Highly recommend!

I got highlights and a haircut. The highlights were so poorly blended, I had friends ask me where I got my hair done so that they would know not to go there. Also, about a one inch section of my hair was not cut - just left longer than the rest. Just FYI the owner is a Trump supporter. He and my hairdresser both discussed politics during my appointment. It was the opposite of relaxing.
