90 Degrees Salon

I had been looking for a colorist that could give me the platinum/icy blonde balayage look for about a year now. All the once’s I’ve been to so far had not gotten me where I wanted because they thought my would damage my hair. Luckily, I found 90 Degrees Salon and had a 15 minute consult with the owner. I figured at this point, if the experienced owner can’t do it, no one can. Sure enough, Denise said she could do it & so I got an appointment not a week later. My hair finally came out how I had wanted it to look at the start of an appointment! Denise is super friendly & great at her job; she only took 2.5 hours for the entire appointment! Alex Markowski was AWESOME!!  I came in to use a Groupon Deal my daughter had bought me as a gift to get my hair cut, a deep treatment and styled on 7/28/2017.  This was my 1st time here. Everyone was very polite and helpful.  It didn't even take 5 mins. til I was greeted by Alex. After Alex evaluated my hair and what I was looking for, he offered to color my hair too.  This just blew me away!!  I was floored!  He offered me something to drink, which I thought was very nice.  So he put on a fresh pot of coffee to my delight before we got started with washing my VERY thick head of hair!! The before and after pics show what a great job he did!!  He took very good care of me!  It took him about 3 hours to do everything that needed to be done, but the end result was A M A Z I N G!!!!   LOVI

Today was my first visit to this salon and I have to say I was impressed. My stylist was Amber. She gave me a great cut and the coloring she did came out beautifully. She never rushed, she listened to my input and gave me what I asked for. She has a very pleasant personality and I enjoyed my time with her. I will be back and will recommend her to all my family and friends. Thanks for the great job Amber!

My experience with this salon has repeatedly been with a stylist and artist named Sarah Dam. She is very down to earth, a great listener, ensuring that your vision matches hers, and a sweet Charlotte native. That being said, she has the eye and the style of someone who has their finger on the heartbeat of the nations latest fashion, from Los Angeles to New York. Sarah is well versed in experience with all sorts of hair textures and types. From young children to geriatrics, businessmen and women to teenagers. I had Amelia as my stylist. The salon is sold and under new folks...so I m not sure if Amelia is still with 90 degrees. But here's my review.. there was a little snafu with the right address,due to them being in transition. Once I arrived at the right address there was a wait of 15 mins even though I had an appointment and the stylist was really attending to 3 different folks at the same time. I would bucket that under management change issues. But the cut that I got was great. She listened to my needs and asked questions abt what I wanted and what my lifestyle supported. Gave me a great dry cut and advised me on how to take care of my hair and what products to use without really marketing them or being pushy. I loved my haircut and will go back again.
